Ordinary fleeces are great, but sometimes you need a bit more weather-proofing, to keep out the wind and the odd passing shower.
On the other hand, full-on waterproofs aren’t the most user-friendly garments for general wear.
An excellent compromise is the lined/reversible fleece jacket, like this one from Result.
This has a showerproof Polyester reverse, which acts as wind-proofing, and also as a lining to slide on easliy over inner garments.
The jacket can be reversed for a bit more shower-proofing, or just if you fancy a colour change.
